Hi Caron, I've been promising for the longest time that I'll get my birth story over to you, so here it is! As you know when I initially contacted you pre pandemic I was dead set on a homebirth and just wanted to refresh on the skills previously taught when I did the full course as I was a bit nervous after a wobble at the end of my first birth. Obviously Covid had different plans and homebirths were cancelled at my trust and I was told birth center was my only option which after a rather traumatic stay in hospital previously I wasn't keen on to say the least and to add to that there was lots of uncertainty at what point I can have a birth partner and loads of other things. My anxiety was through the roof at this point and you came to the rescue. It was basically a therapy session over zoom with a refresher of the hypnobirthing! You had me feeling super confident again and in control. Thankfully at my 36 week appointment, my midwife had the amazing news that if I was still interested in a homebirth I could have one and so I did.
